My passion for the business world led me to train as a Higher Technician in International Trade (C.E.U Abad Oliba), with a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from the UB (Bosch and Guimperà Foundation), and a Senior Sales Management degree from ESIC Business School. I began my professional career at a renowned multinational in the maritime logistics sector (Hanjing Shipping). Throughout my career, I have held various positions in several functional areas of SMEs. My career within a company has ranged from operational management of a warehouse to general management of a company in all its areas. Having lived in several countries, including Ireland, Canada, India, Australia, Taiwan, and Morocco, has given me an international perspective in my professional career and allowed me to support entrepreneurs and their businesses to take their business development to the next level. Having created and developed my own business and managed several SMEs allows me to understand and address the different problems of each client-entrepreneur, while also designing customized business solutions for each company, providing unique know-how. Espluga Consulting was born from the union of my entrepreneurial spirit and my business experience.
In 2005, at the age of 25, I decided to start my own business. A company dedicated to importing and distributing in the industrial sector. Eagle Abrasives was the result of my desire to be financially independent and my own boss. For nearly three years, I created and developed my first business, creating several jobs (microstructure) and developing new product lines. At the end of 2007, with the arrival of the notorious financial crisis and the lack of bank liquidity, among other factors, I decided to leave the sector.
Because of the well known world financial crisis, and later spanish political crisis I decided to shut down my business and social projects to start again in some other country where Entrepeneur people could be more valuable so I could develope again my inner potential. I moved to Australia, looking for new challenges and Business Opportunities. I arrived on 2011 and one year I was running my humble Consultany firm in order to provide Business Services for Aussie SME's. This is how Espluga Consulting was born
In 2013, I decided to move my company to a growing market, Morocco. A country closer to Spain and experiencing rapid economic growth, it offers opportunities in several sectors for Spanish SMEs. During the two years I resided in Morocco, I provided international business development services for Spanish SMEs looking to open a branch in the country.
Since 2019, we have incorporated a new business service, M&A. We assist in SME purchase and sale processes, from the initial ownership phase through to preparing the company for sale from the financial and operational perspectives, drafting the business plan, contacting target investors, negotiating, and closing the mandate.
Espluga Consulting, 12 years after its founding in Sydney, Australia, continues its operations in Spain as a Strategic Consulting & Business Development firm, developing comprehensive expansion plans for SMEs. We work on key aspects of each business, considering internal and external factors, and identify opportunities for improvement in processes, logistics, costs, and organizational development. We optimize the financial and accounting structure, developing and EXECUTING marketing and commercial plans. At the strategic level, we develop business improvement plans, working from the management level, providing business mentoring and executive coaching services, to warehouse operations. We assess the internationalization potential of our SME clients and, if this is of interest to our clients, we develop customized services to facilitate their business expansion. Since 2019, we have acted as an M&A advisor on various mandates under exclusive and confidentiality conditions.
